Corporate events in NOVOTIX Console are built for organisations that need more control, flexibility, and tailored event workflows. They are ideal for events with more advanced requirements, such as branded registration journeys, custom communication, specialised ticketing, or additional event modules.
Watch the video above for a complete walkthrough, or follow the steps below.
Corporate events are not enabled by default and cannot be created immediately in a standard NOVOTIX account.
To use Corporate Events, please submit a quotation request first. Our team will review your requirements, discuss the available options with you, and activate the appropriate Corporate Event features for your account.
This is also clearly indicated when you select the Corporate Event option in the event creation wizard.
Please note that certain modules within a Corporate Event may also require separate activation or a tailored quotation. This ensures that your event setup includes exactly the functionality your organisation needs.
Select Events from the navigation menu on the left-hand side. A submenu appears, providing quick access to the available event-management options.
From here, you can view existing events, manage drafts, and start a new event.
Click + New event to open the event creation wizard.
Select Corporate event as the event type. If Corporate Events have not yet been activated for your account, NOVOTIX will display a clear notification explaining that a quotation request is required before you can continue.
Once Corporate Events are enabled, the wizard guides you through the full event setup step by step.
Each step includes a short description below its title, explaining what information is required and what you need to complete. Click Continue in the bottom-right corner to proceed to the next step. You can also press Enter as a keyboard shortcut to move forward more quickly.
Use the Event details step to define the identity of your corporate event. Add the event name, optional subtitle, start and end date and time, time zone, genre, category, minimum age, and tags.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and must be completed before you can continue. Optional fields may be left blank and completed or updated later.
Clear event details help create a professional first impression and ensure that attendees understand the purpose, timing, and character of your event.
In Venue details, add the location where the event will take place. You can search for a venue location or enter the address manually.
Add the venue name and relevant address details, such as the street, house number, postal code, city, and country. Completing these details gives attendees a clear and reliable event location from the moment they register.
Use the Attendee types step to define the different groups of people who can attend your corporate event.
Create attendee types that reflect your event structure, such as Guests, Employees, Speakers, VIPs, Partners, or Press. For each type, you can define the relevant admission details, including availability and capacity.
This gives you a flexible and organised way to manage registrations for different audiences, whether your event is open to all invitees or uses a more selective, invitation-based approach.
The Form fields step lets you tailor the registration form to your event.
Add custom questions, choose the appropriate field type, and mark fields as required where necessary. This is useful for collecting information such as dietary requirements, accessibility needs, department details, preferences, or other attendee information that supports your event planning.
A well-designed form gives you the information you need while keeping registration simple for attendees.
In Email templates, choose how attendee communication should be handled.
You can use NOVOTIX’s default templates, select templates manually, or start with empty templates and tailor the communication later. This allows you to align confirmations, reminders, and other messages with your organisation’s tone of voice and event requirements.
The Automations step helps you configure workflows that support your event.
Depending on your Corporate Event package, additional modules and advanced options may be available. If a module is not yet activated, NOVOTIX will clearly indicate this and guide you towards the appropriate quotation or activation process.
This approach keeps your event setup focused while allowing you to expand with the functionality your organisation needs.
The Summary step provides a complete overview of the information entered throughout the wizard.
Review each section carefully and select Edit when you want to update a specific part of the event. Once everything is complete and correct, click Submit event to create the Corporate Event.
You do not need to complete a Corporate Event in one session.
Your progress is automatically saved as a draft while you work. You can also click Save and exit at any time to pause the setup process.
After saving and exiting, you are redirected to the event overview. When you are ready to continue, select + New event again and resume the saved draft through the same wizard. You can continue from where you left off without losing the work you have already completed.
To return to a previous step, select the relevant step from the navigation bar at the top of the page.
You can then review or update the information entered during that step before continuing. This makes it easy to refine the event as plans evolve, even when multiple people are involved in preparing the event.
