The Overview dashboard page is the first page displayed after logging in to the Novotix platform. It provides a clear, high-level overview of performance, revenue, and audience insights. The dashboard is designed to give organizers immediate insight into how their business or events are performing, without the need to navigate through multiple sections.
Depending on your selection, the dashboard can show:
A company-wide overview combining data from all events within a selected year, or
A specific event overview, showing detailed statistics for one selected event
By default, the dashboard displays a total company view. This aggregates all data from your events for a selected period (typically a year), allowing you to monitor overall performance at a glance.
In the top-right corner of the dashboard, you can select a specific event from the event selector. Once an event is selected:
The dashboard switches to an event-specific overview
All statistics, charts, and metrics update to reflect only that event
Your selection is remembered automatically
When you log out and log back in, the platform will continue to display the last selected event dashboard until you change it again.
Below is an explanation of the main components and metrics shown on the dashboard.
At the top of the dashboard, you will find a graph showing:
Revenue – the total ticket revenue generated
Registrations – the number of tickets or registrations issued
This chart allows you to visually track sales and registrations over time, making it easy to identify trends, peaks, and periods of low activity.
You can switch between different data views (such as Products vs. Revenue) depending on your reporting needs.
Directly below the graph, several summary cards provide key financial insights:
Product revenue – total revenue generated from ticket sales
Additional revenue – revenue from add-ons or additional products
Issued products – total number of tickets or products issued
These figures provide a quick snapshot of your event or company performance.
Additional data cards display:
Service costs – platform or service-related costs
Transaction costs – payment processing fees
Average age – average age of attendees (based on available data)
Average products per order – insight into purchasing behavior
These metrics help you better understand both costs and customer behavior.
The dashboard also provides valuable demographic insights, including:
This visualization shows the ratio of issued products, giving insight into ticket distribution and sales completion.
A breakdown of ticket holders by gender (when data is available), helping you better understand your audience profile.
Displays the cities from which most attendees originate, offering insight into geographic reach.
Shows the countries where your attendees are located, useful for international events or growth analysis.
At the bottom of the dashboard, a map visualization highlights the geographic distribution of attendees across regions and countries. This provides a visual summary of where your audience is located.
The dashboard acts as a central control panel for your organization or event. It allows you to:
Monitor real-time performance
Track revenue and ticket sales
Gain insights into your audience demographics
Make data-driven decisions quickly
By offering both company-level and event-level views, the Novotix dashboard ensures you always have the right level of insight, exactly when you need it.
For daily operations, we recommend setting a frequently used event as your default dashboard view. This saves time and ensures you immediately see the most relevant data after logging in.
